Hello! If you’re going to New York you should definitely see museums such as the Met, the Guggenheim, Lehmann Maupin Gallery, and the MoMa. Try to go to all the touristy places if this is your first visit, I did that a while back and even though there are loads of people, they’re worth it. My favorite are the Empire State Building and the Central Park Zoo. Definitely try to buy tickets for a Broadway Show (Priscilla Queen of the Desert is amazingly hilarious!). I really could send you pages and pages of my favorite things to do so I’ll list a couple and hope you like some: Belvedere Castle in Central Park, Friedsam Memorial Carousel in Central Park, Magazine Cafe at 37th Street between 5th and 6th Ave., New York Public Library, Cafe Macaron, and the Flea Market on W. 39th street during weekends. I always try to keep track of the places I visit when I’m there and I tend to write everything down. I’m sure even if you go without a plan, you’ll have a brilliant time.
