Anonymous asked: do you work now that you're at college?

I don’t have a set schedule to work but I do a couple of things. I nanny for a family here and it’s great because they’re very respectful in terms of me being in college and needing time to do work/study. I babysit for two other families whenever they need me. Also, every Saturday I go out with a couple of ladies who learned Spanish when they were younger but have lost their skills over the years. I do about an hour with them and we talk and I correct their grammar, it’s really just so they can exercise their skills in Spanish but they pay me to do that every week. Recently, I improvised a recipe on chocolate caramel sea salt bars and some of the local restaurants and wine shops are interested in me baking for them once a week. I’ll be doing a taste test with them sometime in the coming weeks so hopefully that will work out. Everything I do really isn’t set in a strict schedule but it’s nice because I usually have some money every week. I love not having to ask my parents for money all the time! x
